Our Code of Conduct

At Westbury Leigh CE Primary School, we are very fortunate to have a supportive and friendly parenting body and the respect of the many visitors that visit our site.  Our visitors recognise that educating children is a process that involves partnership between parents/carers, class teachers and the school community. To truly create the best outcomes for children it requires this relationship to be based on the principles of care, integrity, trust and mutual respect.

We expect all visits and communications with and about our school to:

  •     Be polite, both in words and in actions
  •     Be responsible, following our expectations and guidance
  •     Treat each individual with respect and dignity

Our values of respect, responsibility and courage underpin our ethos and expectations of conduct.  Any conduct that does not support this will be challenged.  We are all role models to the children in our care and we aim to inspire them to aspire to be the best they can be in everything they do and achieve well, conduct is part of this.
